Big, world class, grandeur and groundbreaking are just a few words that describe the new single “King of the World” from rapper Nissim Black. After a year break from releasing new songs, Nissim has comeback with an explosive although, heartfelt song that is sure to captivate any listener. After his blast off in 2015 with Gad Elbaz in their collaboration “Hashem Melech 2.0” , Nissim thought it was appropriate to keep crowning The King on his own.
“I was spending a great deal of time at the Grave of Kind David”, Says Nissim. “I kept thinking about how he would praise G-d, with no shame, I thought it was inspiring and wanted to do the same”. The fiery new single is in a world of its own. You can’t really call it rap, but you can’t really call it R&B, Pop? World? Whatever it is, it sure will make the listener feel good or feel G-d. It’s sonic vibrations sores above the clouds, leading listeners to contemplate the royalty of The Heavens, while the heavy 808 hits you in the chest, keeping your feet on the ground.
“King of the World” was produced by Nissim’s brother in law Yosef Brown, of who it is known to have produced/Co-wrote “Fly Away” and “Million Years”, Black’s biggest solo songs to date. Nissim has been working hard to complete his next full length project titled “Gibor”. Release date is yet to be announced.
