A fresh new Artist makes his debut with his breathtaking rendition of the famous prayer, “Ana BeKoach.” Yosef Daniel was born in Mexico and grew up in the Christian faith up until 10 years ago. It was then when he decided to follow his heart and soul and embark on his journey to finding truth in Judaism.
Tucked into our daily Tefilot, including Shabbat, is the beautiful “Ana BeKoach.” A gem of a prayer that brings us closer to our much needed Geulah Shelemah. The purpose of this amazing prayer is not only the meaningful words of supplication. The real intent of the Author, Rabbi Nehunia Ben Hakannah, was to elevate us by encoding the prayer with the 72 names of Hashem. The 42 letter name, Mem-Bet is predominately alluded to. Our Sages call this name “The Elevator” because that’s exactly what it does. It elevates us from the depth of who we are, neshamot.
These kavanot and many more have enchanted this musical composition. As the Tefilah is meant to elevate, so this musical ride crescendos. The words are not repeated intentionally as to fulfill the prayer’s purpose.
Yosef Daniel‘s vocal delivery is a humble homage to Rabbi Nehunia Ben Hakannah‘s magnus opus.
“Ana BeKoach” was recorded in Ramat Beit Shemesh, Israel. It was arranged and mixed by Producer, Freddie Fabian. This will be one of the songs off of Yosef’s anticipated debut album.
