Not every day creates an international scale releases a single Hassidic, but Nissim Baroukh, who was a popular and popular musician in France and since the strengthening devote his time to the training of cantors and the owners of prayer, the Hasidic genre is also profitable. A new single, named “Adon Olam,” performed by Nissim Baroukh in his tenor lyrical voice, presents a different and interesting style, and is a continuation of “Tipot Shel Ohr” – the new album on the way. Baroukh, 58, and a resident of Jerusalem, is considered one of the leading teachers in Israel for the development of voice, and among his students are well-known cantors and singers. An opera singer with a unique voice, he is the founder and conductor of the choir of the cantors “Gesher HaMeytarim.”
Eighteen years ago, he immigrated from France to Israel, with devotion and love for the Holy Land. Among other things, Nissim Baroukh produced a cantorial album that was praised by cantors all over the world, among them the great cantor Cantor Moshe Stern.
Six albums have been released by Nissim Baroukh until now. Each of them in a different style. He is married to the world pianist Alexandra Baroukh and she also contributes her talents to the new single in playing and crafting alongside Jeff Hurwitz, who adapted the roles for drums and bass guitar. The mix is shared by Jeff and Nissim Baroukh and recorded in Baroukh‘s private studio.
