Twenty years have passed since Sharon Avilachak and Udi David created and performed music. Since then, the two have gone their separate ways on fascinating personal journeys, only to reconnect in the new single “Nogea Ba’orot” – a work that reflects the power of music and long-standing friendships that bridge differences.
Sharon, who became famous as a leading creator in Jewish music with hits like “Al Naharot Bavel”, “Ben shel Melech“, and more. Udi, on the other hand, chose to dedicate his life to healing souls. He completed a doctorate in social work and became an expert in treating trauma and loss.
About five years ago, despite the apparent gaps between their worlds, the two found their way back through their shared connection to music. Together, they broke into the French music industry, where they create and produce for leading artists.
“Nogea Ba’orot” featuring musician and guitarist Erez Lev Ari, is more than just a song – it is living proof that difference and distance can lead to a deeper and more authentic connection. In these days of tension and polarization in Israeli society, the song offers a message of hope: Even when paths diverge, we can always find our way back to each other, reconnect, and discover that our differences are actually the source of wealth and shared creation.
