Modzitz’s ‘Shoshanat Yaakov‘ has long been one of the most beloved and most performed at the Purim seuda. The work, composed by the Rebbe ‘Imrei Shaul’ of Modzitz, is characterized by particularly colorful and cheerful motifs, which are closely intertwined with the sounds of dance and joy of the days of Purim.
Now. the song receives a surprising update in the form of an impressive and sweeping performance by the Nagid, cantor and prayer leader Moti Fixler from Jerusalem, wrapped in a new and colorful arrangement by Dudi Kalish, who also sings with Fixler in his unique delivery. Fixler, who is used to making disabled children and thousands happy every day, chooses to release the clip, in order to make the people of Israel happy during this period.
The mishte yayin, the wine feast has many guests including, members of the legendary ‘Malchut’ choir, yeshiva students and a crowd of ‘Bnei Yisrael’ who came to celebrate the mitzvah of the day together with joy and good will.
The host and sponsor of the production is the ‘Kramei Elul‘ winery, whose fine organic wines are enjoyed, even in days when no one has the mitzvah to drink a lot, but most of all during these days of Purim.
The famous chef Chaim Bornstein, whose flavors evoke aromas even just by looking at his food is going to be catering.
