Backed by strong media support, following the hit “Ki Ani Yehudi,” singer and composer Meir Green strides towards the next hit, with an even stronger Jewish message: “Od Avinu Chai.”
In the single and especially invested lyrics, Green continues to weave unity messages as he has characterized him from the beginning as a musician. “As soon as a person is referred to as a Jew first,” explains Green, “or then comes the stage of ‘Od Avinu Chai‘ – our father in heaven lives with each person and brings him peace and joy.”
“Od Avinu Chai” was released at the very beginning of the winter season, where the mood is a little more subdued and people usually are asked to put out slower songs. “I chose to compose the song and arrange it as a rhythmic hit with the intention of inspiring a joy that always manages to unite people, even when its obscure and cold.”
Green is almost done recording his debut album, and is expected to be completed the winter of 2020. It will include the hits “Ki Ani Yehudi“, “Meirutz Hazman“, “Chupa Levana” and more, and is expected to arouse great interest.
Along with the work around the album, Meir Green and Rabbi Chaim Horwitz, Rabbi of the Tzahala neighborhood, perform together with “Naar Misgaber“, an educational show accompanied by poetry and say, a show that has been very successful and takes place on many stages across the country.
